This December, the Arroyo Grande High School Theatre Company will perform the Tony Award-winning show “Into The Woods”, written by Stephen Sondheim. The show intertwines classic Brothers Grimm stories such as “Cinderella”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, and “Rapunzel”, each with its own sinister twist. The show is overflowing with fun characters, upbeat and often spine-chilling songs, and compelling stories.
“This show truly demonstrates the toils and strengths we all need to get through our obstacles,” London Raftery (‘27), who plays Cinderella, said. “The part I love most about her is her transformation; that’s what this show is about, finding your place.”
The show will run for two weekends in early December. There will be evening performances at 7 p.m. on December 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14, as well as one matinee at 2 p.m. on December 8. Tickets are $23.50, with discounts for senior citizens ($19.50), students/children ($16), and LMUSD faculty and staff ($7).
Tickets are available for purchase now in person at the box office or online at: https://clarkcenter.org/shows/aghs-into-the-woods/
