When the holiday season begins, most people get into the holiday spirit and start thinking about decorations, presents, and all the festivities, however, for many decorating starts at different times. In a survey conducted after Thanksgiving Break, students were asked when they decorate their homes for Christmas. The survey had 132 responses from students that were sent to 6 different teachers. 

The first question had the vast majority of students choosing ‘after Thanksgiving,’ and some choosing ‘before the break.’

A lot of people chose “after Thanksgiving.” Along with varied results from the other responses and some added student responses of don’t decorate and decorate the day Thanksgiving break started. 

 Although only a few who responded decorate or celebrate as early, it is still clear that most of those who responded decorated within the first few days of December. Although some may decorate earlier than others, overall it seems that everyone decorates before the holiday festivities.
