After fairing well with their robot “Bruce” in competitions earlier this year, the AGHS Robotics team has earned a chance to compete against the world’s best amateur roboticists.
The robotics team started in 2004 and has been to the world competition four times, but this is their first time qualifying for the prestigious event since 2008.
To fund the trip, the team is hosting a BBQ fundraiser.
“The robotics team is attempting to raise $20,000 to fund the trip to Houston,” Robotics adviser James Carter said.
The BBQ will take place on Sunday, April 13th, from 11 AM to 4 PM. $20 will get you a half chicken and sides.
