From October 6th to 9th, preparation took place to make the homecoming rally possible.

On Thursday, October 9th, the physical setup took place. ASB, leadership, and linkcrew students spend their Thursday night setting up for the rally.
“It’s a lot, but it’s really exciting to see our student body get excited about this…And watching the student leaders work really hard to put on such a special event for our student body,” leadership director Shannon Hurtado said.
On Friday, October 10th, AGHS held the 2026 Homecoming rally. Here are the events that took place.
First up was a 2-minute-long intro video welcoming kids into the rally. Followed closely by an intro speech presented by AGHS students, Nicholas Monge and Gavin Fitzpatrick.
A sports highlight video played, showcasing all of the fall sports.
Then, the dance company was introduced and performed.
Next up AGHS students Callie Barker and Juan Jimenez introduce the candidates for homecoming court.
Greek week cheers are then performed by each class, freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Then each class does their Greek week dances, and presents banners.
The junior class won first place, the sophomore class came in second, the seniors took third, and the freshmen finished in fourth place.
Finally, the rally concluded with the game of snatch the wig, where the last person with their wig still on wins for their Greek week team.
