Incoming Eagles tour campus, share their thoughts on entering high school

On May 11, AGHS leadership took 8th graders from Judkins Middle School around campus to acquaint them with classes and other buildings.

Students also gathered in the gym to watch a series of videos and live performances to expose them to activities available for them to join.

While touring, the following eighth graders shared their thoughts on what they are most looking forward to about attending AGHS, what they are nervous about, and what they expect from “the high school experience”.

What are you most looking forward to about attending AGHS? “I’m excited for all the clubs and extracurricular activities. I want to take CAD… maybe Physics in Junior year,” Nash said. What makes you nervous about attending AGHS? “[I’m] not particularly [nervous]... I’m excited for a lot of people to meet.”
