Tomorrow, Oct. 26, 2023, Arroyo Grande High School’s Friday Night Live club is hosting a blood drive. To donate students must sign up in advance by speaking with Mr. Sligh in room 802 during break or lunch. Students must also be at least 16 years old, have a signed parent permission slip, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good general health.
By donating blood, students are not only helping their community but also earning five hours of community service, which is especially important for seniors who need to complete the 20-hour minimum for graduation.
The event is hosted by the Friday Night Live club, which focuses on bringing awareness to mental health and teen addictions to drugs and alcohol. The club meets every Thursday during lunch in room 802. For more information on future FNL events, follow them on Instagram: @aghs.fnl
