On Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Cuesta College will be hosting a college night. The event will include how to get financial aid and scholarships, write quality college admissions essays, apply for dual enrollment classes, and explore other options available after high school.
Representatives from 40 different colleges including Cal Poly SLO, UC Berkeley, and UC San Diego will be at the event to speak with high school students and their families to advise them on making informed decisions about college applications and admissions.
Workshops will be held each hour of the event, covering topics such as creating an impactful college application, essay writing, how to approach financial aid, and athletic recruitment.
The event is an opportunity for all high school students, particularly seniors, and their families to gain important information regarding college preparation and what happens after graduation. The event is available to all who want to join, no matter their desired path after high school.
