On Tuesday, Nov. 14, in honor of National Pickle Day, any student can get a free pickle. The holiday has been celebrated for over 70 years but was only recognized in 1949 when the Pickle Packers Association encouraged the celebration.
Later this week, on Friday, Nov. 17, in celebration of Thanksgiving, students with ASB can get free pumpkin pie. While this holiday is more known than National Pickle Day, it’s still just as fun to celebrate.
The treats will be handed out on their respective days during lunch in the quad.
