This December, the Arroyo Grande High School Theatre Company will perform “The Wind in the Willows.” Based on the classic British novel of the same name, the musical follows the story of the eccentric Mr. Toad, his obsession with the motorcar, and the efforts of his friends Badger, Rat, and Mole to keep him out of jail. Fit for audiences of all ages, the show is overflowing with fun characters, upbeat songs, and compelling stories that will have everyone leaving the theatre with a smile on their face.
“This show is so different from anything else I’ve ever done,” said Mia Beck (’25), who plays Mr. Toad. “I can’t wait for audiences to see all the hard work everyone has done.”
The show will run for two weekends in early December. There will be evening performances at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 8, Saturday, December 9, Thursday, December 14, Friday, December 15, and Saturday, December 16, as well as one Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on December 10. Tickets are $20, with discounts for senior citizens ($16) and students/children ($14).
