This coming Thursday on April 18th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, the counseling department at AGHS is hosting College Night with California Community College presenters at the George O’Connor Board Room on 602-G Orchard St. in Arroyo Grande.
This is a great opportunity for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to get more insight on CSU and UC colleges. Counselors and presenters will discuss admission requirements for applications, academic programs available to students, and student resources within the school and community. There will also be a Q&A with experts from Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara, Cuesta, and Allan Hancock College.
AGHS is not only a space for high school education, but also an aid for students as they begin to or are soon to further their education in college. College Night is a great way for students to take advantage of resources on campus and speak with college experts to have a better understanding of what they will do in the near future.
