Rating a”door”able doors at AGHS

The 400’s wing women's staff bathroom receives a 4 in paint quality, a 4 in door functionality, and a 5 in door stopper quality. For a staff restroom, it’s unfortunate that the stylistic components of this door are lacking. Scuffled paint markings and dirty concrete give this restroom the feel of a public park in the city. The building surrounding the door also resembles a post-apocalyptic society, subtracting points from its overall aesthetic.

Mia Hinds, Co-Editor in Chief
Mia Hinds is a senior at AG High School, and is in her second and final year with the Eagle Times.  She has a dog named Miko, who is a pitbull and husky mix.  Her hobbies include baking and gardening, as well as anything to do with marine science or psychology.  She also loves coffee, tea, and rainy days.  Her goal is to absolutely dominate in The Eagle Times because she definitely has an extremely intimidating and ruthless presence that everyone is scared of.  This year, she hopes to embody Mr. Callaghan's favorite quote, "Do good journalism!", and inspire students across campus and in the community.   
Tristan Bird
Tristan Bird, Reporter
Tristan is a senior at Arroyo Grande High. He enjoys the simple things in life, like sipping on coffee at the window, admiring freshly mowed grass, and being a chauffeur. He also always has snacks in his backpack. Most of his friends refer to him as the "mom" or "dad" of the friend group. Tristan is the Special Events Commissioner for Student Government (ASB), the Treasurer of Interact Club, and a varsity soccer player. Outside of school, Tristan enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and boating at Lake Nacimiento with family and friends. He also has a Goldendoodle named Ziggy. Tristan joined The Eagle Times with the mission of sharing the unique experiences and stories of AGHS students and staff.
