AGHS Girls Golf’s performance drove their way to another league title—the same league title they’ve held since 2021. They received the league title after scoring a 396 at Alisal River Golf Course.
Not only did the team take home a league title, but also obtained other awards and personal records (PR). Gigi Gunasayan (‘25) scored a 71, which is one stroke under par. Gunasayan earned the MVP award and first Team All-League. Emma Dodson (‘25) PR’d with 76 strokes and Cecilla Lewis (‘27) hit a 77. Maya London (‘25) scored an 82 and Sophia Sowell (‘26) came in with 90 strokes. Reese Poole (‘26) scored a 108.
The varsity team qualified to move on to the Central Section CIF Division 1 play—Gunasayan, Lewis, London, Dodson, Sowell, Poole, and Brooke Pinkerton (‘28). They’ll play at San Joaquin Country Club in Fresno on Nov. 4th.
