Spring is a lovely time on the Central Coast.  The sun warms the morning air and the afternoon breezes bring in cool evenings.

Spring is also an active time for athletes, with this year being an especially active season as a wide array of sports and a high number of athletes return to the field, court, course, and water.

However, new regulations greet both athletes and spectators which significantly limits the number of people who can attend events.  Here are the current guidelines set forth by the AGHS Athletic department:

• Attendance is limited to immediate family living in the immediate household – max of 4 people – be prepared to show your ID at the gate – #’s based on 20% of facility capacity.
• Masks MUST be worn at all times while on any LMUSD campus/grounds
• Social Distancing of 6 ft must be observed between non-household members at the event, as well as when entering and existing
• Observers may arrive no earlier than 15 mins prior to the event (30 mins for football)
• Observers MUST leave the facility immediately following the event
• Siblings or minors MUST be accompanied by a parent /guardian at all times including entrance into the event.
• The facility will be cleared out between events to allow for the next cohort of observers
• If you do NOT feel well or are currently feeling any of the COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home & wash or sanitize your hands frequently
• Cover your mouth when coughing
• If your name is NOT on the list, you will NOT be permitted to enter the facility – no exceptions. Please check with your student-athlete to make sure they submitted the names of the 4 family members living in their immediate household.

Additionally, the AGHS Athletic Department has been live-streaming multiple sports on their youtube channel.  In order to keep live streaming, they need subscribers.  Hop on over and subscribe to support the department and provide for family members who cannot attend.
