What’s something you wish adults understood about life today?
“One thing I wish adults understood about teens is how much stress they feel in everyday life. We’re constantly being compared by grades, looks, money, followers, and success, and you can’t escape from it. Even when we try to relax, it feels like we are expected to be improving or proving something to someone else.”
What’s one thing you’d like to see change at school?
“One thing I would like to see change in schools are teachers being less focused on grades and more focused if students are
actually learning. Nowadays, students don’t really take their time on assignments because they have so much to do, but if schools give students less assignments and more time, they wouldn’t feel as rushed to do a sloppy job on their work, but would actually take the time to learn what it’s about.”
How do you define happiness for yourself?
“I define happiness by not only being at peace of my life, but also being surrounded by people you love and care for. I feel happiest when I stay connected to my faith, family, friends, and try to be the best version of myself.”
