AGHS switches to block schedule for CAASP testing and finals (made in Canva by Orion Schmidt)
At AGHS students typically have six classes everyday. However, a few weeks each year the schedule shifts to “block,” where students have three, two hour, periods a day. Students have mixed feelings about the irregular schedule.
While CAASPP testing has finished, that is not to say students will not see block schedule again. Block schedule will continue on June 3 and 4 for finals.
Orion Schmidt is a senior at Arroyo Grande High School. It is his first year doing journalism and hopes to make some strong stories that share the messages people want to get out. He also loves the arts, drawing and painting for his many passion projects whenever he gets the time.
