“Take a book now… leave a book later” is painted on the door of a miniature library in front of a house. This is the main concept of “Little Free Library,” a non-profit organization that works to make reading more accessible and bring communities together around the world. Originally starting in Hudson, Wisconsin, these little libraries have popped up on lawns in more than 100 countries. In our community, residents have worked to make books more attainable by putting up little libraries of their own. If you are looking for a new book, or have some old books you no longer need, these little libraries offer a solution. The map above contains fourteen libraries for you to check out!
