If you could redo one year of high school, which year would it be and why?
“Sophomore year, I lost all my friends because I got so hooked on a guy that ended up being very toxic and bad and I couldn’t get out of that relationship until about 2 months ago.”

“Get your stuff done early, stay in school, and stay focused because it goes way too fast.”

“One thing I regret not doing in high school is participating more. Whether it’s playing more sports or joining clubs that interest me.”

“The best decision I’ve made in high school is trying out for cheer. This allowed me to meet new people who I am still friends with today.”

“My biggest academic regret is not trying hard enough my freshman year. Most people say academically your freshman year isn’t important, but for your overall GPA when applying to colleges it is.”

“One of my social regrets is staying closed off. I think it is valuable to branch out and meet new people.”

“If you are an incoming freshman, join a sport or club. Picking something you are interested in allows you to grow as a person and meet new people.”
If you could redo one year of high school, which year would it be and why?
“If I could, I would redo my junior year. As hard as it was academically, I spent most of my time wishing for my senior year to come faster. Now that I am about to graduate soon, I wish I spent more time enjoying the small moments.”

“My best piece of advice for upcoming seniors is enjoy every moment and continue to branch out. You will only be with these teachers and your class one last time and it’s important you make the most of it.”

“One thing I regret not doing in high school is trying out for the tennis team. It was a sport I always wanted to get back into but sadly never did.”

“One decision I’m really glad I made in high school is to take AP classes. They really helped my college applications and have given me future college credit.”

“I don’t really have any academic regrets but procrastinating and putting off studying is something I wish I did less of.”

“One social regret I have during high school is not branching out to new people sooner. It was easy to stick to people I already knew well going into freshman year, but looking back the people I now consider my closest friends all can from different schools!”

“The advice I would give to an incoming freshman is to go into high school with few expectations. I think a lot of times people set standards and rules for incoming freshmen to keep in mind when really it’s a different experience for everyone and what you make of it.”
If you could redo one year of high school, which year would it be and why?
“If I could redo one year of high school, I would go back to junior year. I just had the most fun and enjoyed the energy of our grade, while not having the pressure of senior year yet.”

“My best piece of advice for upcoming seniors is to enjoy the time you have. Now that it’s already the second semester and almost graduation, I understand why it’s so important to be grateful for your parents and friends!”
