At Arroyo Grande High School, students’ styles vary from casual, western, alternative, street wear, and more. Students use their outfits to reflect their lifestyles and who they are as a person. Many students at AG prioritize clothing that makes them feel confident and comfortable.
Brodie Stancliff’s (‘27) look blends with comfort and western fashion.

“My outfit is very comfortable and fits my lifestyle very well,” Stancliff said.
His patterned button-up short sleeve, loose fitting jeans, and casual shoes reflects his western style.
“My outfit is honestly inspired by my friends. We all like to wear similar things,” Stancliff said, “My jeans are from the brand Ariat I believe, and I purchased them at Nipomo Western Wear along with the shirt I am wearing. My shoes are just Vans.”
Western clothing has become increasingly popular for AGHS students, especially with those who participate in the agriculture classes, such as Stancliff.
Kalyn Carmichael ‘26 likes to dress in cute and casual outfits throughout the school week.

“My sweat pants and cardigan are from Brandy Melville, my tube top is from H&M,and I’m wearing my Uggs as my shoes,” Carmichael said.
Carmichael likes to embrace casual and cute along with practical and trending clothing.
“This is one of my favorite outfits I have worn in a while,” Carmichael said.
Her outfit is a typical trend among students across AGHS who like to mix comfortable and stylish clothing together to make the perfect outfit.
Many students here at AGHS find fashion to be more about what they find comfortable and practical for their day rather than complex and detailed. While fashion trends are constantly shifting, comfortable outfits will always remain a staple for students here at Arroyo Grande High School.
