Hallways at Arroyo Grande High School double as a runway, where each student expresses their personalities through the outfits they choose each day. Students all across campus express their styles in different ways and create authentic outfits just for them.
For Ari Ava (‘29), fashion is about wearing what you believe is cool and comfortable throughout the day.

“I got my shoes from Converse, and my hat from the Joshua Tree Music Festival,” Ava said. “My shirt is Stussy, my hoodie is a random thrift store purchase, and unfortunately I forget where my pants are from.”
Ava said that she wears similar outfits each day, indicating she knows what she likes and sticks to it.
“It’s my style, I always wear outfits like this,” Ava said.
Ava’s streetwear look reflects cool and laid back.
“My inspiration is skater style,” said Ava.
Ava’s outfit is a reflection of not only what she enjoys doing, but also her personality and confidence.
Phoenix Baltazar (‘27), embraces himself through a mix of thrifted items.

He enjoys building looks that are personal to him and not common among other people. Baltazar’s outfit is very detailed and different, but still trending.
His outfit comes from many different local stores.
“My pants are from my dad and are the brand Diesel, and I’ve got on my Chromehearts bracelet,” Baltazar said.
Along with Ava, he also is wearing Converse.
“My shirt is also thrifted from a spot nearby,” Baltazar said.
Each item selected for Baltazar’s outfit adds character and personalization.
“My inspiration is to take your personality and put it into an outfit,” Baltazar said.
His outfits are more than just clothes, but they reflect who he is.
Both Ava and Baltazar express themselves through their selected outfits. They show confidence and individuality. From skating to streetwear, students at AGHS’ outfits are always trending, cool, and personal to their own lives.
