AGHS students look forward to prom every year; excited to dress up, take pictures, and dance. The tradition of getting asked to prom by significant others and friends is the most valued. AGHS students upheld the tradition of “Promposals” for the 2026 Midnight in Morocco Prom. Promposals are a creative, special, and thoughtful way to ask someone to prom. Promposals at AGHS started the week prior to prom and continued until prom day, April 25.
Green asked Carmicheal with a sign that said, “I know it’s getting late, but Prom?” with her favorite flowers. This was the sixth high school dance they’ve attended together.
Kurth asked Powers by writing “Prom?” in the sand at one of their favorite beach spots. This was the sixth high school dance they’ve attended together.
Childres asked Todd with candles that spelled out “Prom?” and flowers. This was the second high school dance they’ve attended together.
Robertson asked Head to prom with candles spelling out “Prom?” in the sand and flowers. This was the first high school dance that they attended together.
Tayman asked Kennedy by renting a U-Haul with a sign that said, “Will U-Haul my ass to prom?” This was the first high school dance that they attended together.
Weeden asked Provence with a sign that said, “Will you be my Heartache on the Dance Floor at Prom?” This is one of Provence’s favorite songs, “Heartache on the Dance Floor,” by Jon Pardi. This was the first high school dance that they attended together.
Emerson dressed up as a unicorn to ask Garrison with a sign that says, “I’ve Glitterally been dying to ask… Make my night magical at prom?” This was the fourth high school dance they’ve attended together.
Leonard asked Smith with a sign that said, “Will you light up my night at Prom?” and spelled out “Prom” with candles. This was the third high school dance they’ve attended together.
Palacios asked Murguia with a sign that said, “Can I get a kiss? And can U make it last forever at prom?” This is a line from one of Murguia’s favorite songs, “See you again,” by Tyler, The Creator. This was the second high school dance they’ve attended together.
