One day in March, a few Eagle Times staff members were discussing childhood TV shows. Some they spoke about fondly, while others were subjects of heated debates. Even our advisor, Mr. Callaghan shared his opinions. Many of us had watched and loved (or hated) a lot of the same shows, which led to this story: Kids TV shows ranked from worst to best. First in this list are actually the worst in the mix. Not very many people enjoyed the following shows and their ratings are reflective of this.

Uncle Grandpa: 3.8/10 → This show, the only one with its average rating in the 3 range, is clearly not a favorite amongst the surveyed population. Similarly, Uncle Grandpa’s rating on IMDb is at 4.4/10, clearly showing that this was not a well-liked show, and it earns the spot of the worst ranked show on our list.

Exactly half of ten, there is not much to say about these shows, except that they didn’t rank highly, and when asked people would probably have not much more to say than “meh”.

Bluey: 5.2/10 →Created more recently this show has become extremely popular among both kids and adults. It ranked surprisingly lower than IMDb’s rating of 9.4/10 though this is probably due to its recent creation and less people have watched it.

A 6/10 on a test is a D, and while some people may be fine with this since “D is for Diploma” it’s not a grade that most people would be happy with. So according to our survey, D is for these decent shows.

Adventure time & Berenstain Bears: 6/10 → I still hear people talking about both of these shows which made it shocking as to why they are both ranked lower than what I expected, but of course not all people may love these shows as other people do.

Some of the best shows ever and if you disagree then you must have had a sad childhood, because these TV shows are among the best that have been made, or at least the best-rated on our list.

Wonder pets: 7.1/10 → It's adorable. Enough said. You can’t tell anyone that the characters are not the most adorable and cute and awesome animals ever, that also happen to be superheroes which make them all the more cooler, and it taught kids the important life lesson of teamwork. The people who don’t ever do anything in group projects are probably the people that didn’t watch this show, and it's why they know absolutely nothing about doing their work and contributing to projects.

The best ranked TV show on our list:

Wild Kratts: 7.9/10 → Such a great show. Not only is it entertaining, but it’s also educational and teaches kids about animals and the environment. It was created in 2011 and is still popular and new episodes are still being released. So many people loved it, some commented that it was the “GOAT” or “One of the best shows ever!!”. 

Though not everyone may have watched these shows, they are some of the most popular or commonly watched by many people. This survey even inspired people to re-watch some of the shows. Overall, this survey was made to see what shows people enjoyed and to bring back the nostalgia of childhood.
