Humans of AG – Dancing Queens

Malia Gonzalez (’26)

  1. Who is your favorite person in the world?
    1. My mom, because she’s a really good role model. And she always cares about other people. She’s a high school counselor. She cares about others more than herself and always does stuff for others.
  2. What is the best thing about being a teenager in our modern world?
    1. I think getting out there and right now [for example] a lot of influencers are around [our] age. I think that being able to influence the world the way we can at this young age is cool.

Khloe Berard (’25)

  1. Who is your favorite person in the world?
    1. My sister is because she’s always there for me especially when I’m going through a rough time. She’s in college right now and even then she’ll call me to check up on me at just the right time when I need her.
  2. What is your favorite quality of your sister’s
    1. She’s just outstanding. Anytime we’re in a crowded place or something like that, you can always tell where she is. She [looks like she] knows where she is even if she’s lost. She’s also always talking to someone or making someone else laugh.
  3. What is the best thing about being a teenager in our modern world?
    1. I feel like we don’t care about getting in trouble or something [like that]. So, it’s like we have the free will to do what we want. And we just want to have fun with life sometimes and try [new[ things.

Darianna (Dari) Leon (’24)

  1. Who is your favorite person in the world?
    1. My mom is probably my favorite person as well. She has just been here for me [especially] this past year. Junior year has been hard and she’s been here supporting me and she gives me the best advice you [could] give.  [the advice] helps me not stress out about things too.
  2. What is the best thing about being a teenager in our modern world?
    1. The best part of being a teenager is that you can make mistakes right now. And when you’re an adult, you can’t make as many of those big mistakes. You can make them as a teenager because you’re still learning and that’s the best part.

Liora Nunley (’23)

  1. Who is your favorite person in the world?
    1. My favorite person I’d say is my little sister, Willow. I think Willow is because she’s so cheerful. She brings a lot of light to everyone in my family.
  2. What is the best thing about being a teenager in our modern world?
    1. As a teenager, you have more privileges than being a kid but, [still] not having to be on your own yet. Like you’re not all by yourself. So it’s kind of an exciting progression; the perfect middle ground.
