AGHS girl’s golf enjoy a friendly challenge “scramble” at Monarch Dunes Golf Course

Congratulations to the AGHS girl’s golf team for an undefeated season thus far and several school and course records broken. 

AGHS golfers broke an 18-hole school record with a score of 406 on August 29th at the Rancho Maria Golf Club, with Bella Gunasayan and Julia Bognar co-medaling with a score of 76.

On September 1st, girl’s golf broke a course record with a score of 196 against Santa Ynez. Three players broke personal high school records, Giana Gunasayan with a score of 35, Maya London with a score of 38, and Emma Dodson with a score of 43.

AGHS girls golfers broke another school 18-hole record with a score of 384, earning them first place in the Cypress Ridge Mountain League tournament on September 12th. Bella and Giana Gunasayan co-medaled with scores of 72.

On September 21st, AGHS broke yet another 18-hole school record of 381 at a tournament hosted by Hunter Ranch Golf Course with Giana and Bella Gunasayan again co-medaling with an impressive score of 70.

A day later, on September 22nd, Giana Gunasayan broke an individual school record with a personal score of 33 against San Luis Obispo.

AGHS lady golfers remain undefeated as their season soon draws to a close.
