With many college application windows opening this fall students face one of the hardest decisions of their lives: what colleges to apply to.

At AGHS there are many resources available for students to help provide information and assist them with the college application process. One of these resources is our campus’s College and Career Center.

Several colleges are visiting the College and Career center soon.

Some of the upcoming visits include:

Oct 24: Gonzaga University and Cal Poly Humboldt

Oct 31: UCSB and Lafayette College

Nov 1: UC Irvine and the University of Oregon

Nov 8: Cal Poly SLO

Throughout these college visit events, there will be a representative from each highlighted school to provide information and answer any questions students may have.

Any additional questions regarding college visits can be answered at the College and Career Center, which is open all day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and at lunch on Monday and Friday.

Those interested in attending a college visit should sign up at the link below:

Space is limited and juniors and seniors are prioritized for attendance.

In addition to the Career Center, students can use many virtual opportunities to help with the college application process. Our school provides virtual College Nights, financial aid, and scholarship workshops, and colleges and universities have virtual tours and plentiful information on their websites.
